Working with First Nation Band administrators has given us insight into the exceptional challenges faced by IT staff responsible for network infrastructure and data protection. Band management struggles to serve their community with restricted access to telecommunications infrastructure, reliance on outdated systems, and lack of funding sources for costly IT development and long-term strategies.
